I hope you are all safe and well, and am very happy to be able to continue to share news about performances and theatre events coming up this month! I’m thrilled to be performing two shows as part of the EFG London Jazz Festival at Crazy Coqs with the stupendously talented and sought after Jamie Safir on piano. We will be performing the stunning arrangements of Laurence Hobgood and Jamie, both of whom I’m honoured to say, have recorded with me in the past.
Also this month the adaptation of the wonderful Piers Torday’s children's book There May Be A Castle opens at The Little Angel Theatre with a fabulous cast of 5 singing the songs I’ve written for the show. It’s for 7 and up age group and will run across Christmas. We are SO proud of this piece which explores, with great love, some massive themes. I hope you will come and see it. Meanwhile Forgetful Heart and Famous Blue Raincoat are available on all streaming services and on youtube and Apple Music for purchase. All my albums are available online and it is wonderful if you can share the tracks you love far and wide.

Broadway World review of Bob, Brel and Me at Joe’s Pub NYC - Feb 2020
Barb Jungr's committed performances of material by Bob Dylan, Jacques Brel, and herself make for a powerful set. Her delightfully quirky humor, with some cutely bristling impatience at the folly of human nature, is welcome comic relief between highly emotional, word-dense songs. Whether cheeky or choked-up with feeling, this artist (I don't use the word casually) commands attention and affection. Read full review
